Greetings and Salutations Friend,

Have you ever taken an introspective look at yourself?  Have you ever looked in the mirrow and really did not like the image reflected?  Have you ever counted your flaws and your imperfections?  Wow?  Really?  If we would examine ourselves, we would not be judged.  I heard someone say, people that reside in glass homes, should not throw rocks.

My grandmother while growing up, would often say “people need to sweep around their own front door”, in other words she was saying that “people need to mind their own business.”  Take care of you and let others work on themselves.

Perhaps you cannot see your flaws or your own imperfections, but the bible reads in Matthew 7:5closeMatthew 7:5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. (ESV) closeMatthew 7:5closeMatthew 7:5 You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. (ESV) You hypocrite, first take the log out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to take the speck out of your brother's eye. (ESV) “You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.”

What a powerful word of admonishment for us today!  While we were yet sinners, Christ died.

Blessings to you.

Still Unfinished…a work in progress.
